A steel frame built within retained existing façade and walls.
There were 6no levels of floor steelwork supplied and erected while the existing roof was retained. The roof was then removed and a steel mansard roof frame incorporating an additional floor was then erected in its place. The steel beams, columns, etc, where delivered on hi-ab lorries off-loaded onto a loading gantry at 1st floor level and then raised or lowered to the relevant floor levels.
